As Halloween approaches, many high school students look forward to the frightening holiday by planning parties and watching a scary movies. Many students have favorite films in the horror genre.

Frisco’s junior varsity volleyball stars, Campbell Carson, and Stella Margo, tell us the highlight of their fall festivities through their favorite scary movies. “My favorite scary movie is probably The Conjuring,” said Campbell Carson. “No matter how many times I watch it, it still scares me.” Campbell is fearless on the court, a coward when up against the paranormal.

Sophomore Stella Margo  enjoys the thrill of being scared. “My favorite scary movie is the new Smile movie,:” she said, “because it had so many jump scares which really sets it apart from other movies in the genre.”

Both girls enjoy a good jump scare. These spooky stories may not be the best choice for family entertainment, but they provide a good scare during the Halloween season.
