A new wave of celebrities has been promoted in society due to new social media apps. Some of the apps such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, have created a new outlet for young teens and adults to publish themselves instantly and publicly.

What are social media influencers? They are people invested in Influencer Marketing which is a form of social media marketing involving endorsements and product placement from influencers, people, and organizations who have a purported expert level of knowledge or social influence in their field.

Everyone has a chance of getting exploitation on social apps. The bar is even for everyone which gives people a 50/50 chance of fame and followers. These apps are diverse and has a wide variety of content. Comedy, fashion, beauty, and sports are just a few of the videos and photos being posted on these apps.
