On Friday, Aug. 18, the varsity football team played against McKinney North in their last scrimmage before the start of the regular season. The scrimmage ended with a 7-7 tie. In the Texas 5A-1 division, McKinney North ranks 27 compared to Frisco’s rank of 44.

During the controlled portion of the scrimmage, McKinney North scored on Frisco gaining a 7 point lead. The Raccoons did not score in the controlled portion of the game. However, they were able to end the scrimmage in a tie during the last play of the live quarter by kicking the PAT.

Highlights from the scrimmage include a forced fumble on defense from junior Ian Staley and a touchdown thrown by sophomore Cobyn Harbert to sophomore Jackson Voris.
